is the owner and lead installer for Higher
Standard Tile and Stone.
His Mother is an accomplished artist and his Father is meticulous craftsman. His sister Emily is an elementary school teacher at Maui Prep. Tile is the perfect medium for Isaac. It is a trade that requires creativity and precision simultaneously.
He has been installing tile and stone since 1993. He got his start in NYC working on large commercial projects and also high end installations for residential customers. He has spent a large portion of his time volunteering on projects that benefit the local community and in training ones that want to learn a trade.
He has extensive technical training. He stays up to date on the latest installation methods but he also has years of experience to know what can lead to a lasting installation. He has worked with and learned techniques from experienced tile and stone professionals from all parts of the US; and from Canada and Europe.
Isaac has traveled the world and has seen how true craftsmanship and artistic ability can lead to beautiful tile and stone installations that can last for centuries.
He lives in Lahaina with his wife and two sons. We have been serving the Maui community since 2005. We specialize in top quality tile work on the west side of Maui. But if you live any where in Hawai’i and have a tile question or project feel free to contact us.
